hCG Diet

The hCG diet was developed by Dr. Simeon in the 1950s, he found that hCG could be given to patients to support them through very low calorie diets, which helped them lose weight without losing muscle mass or having any of the negative side effects usually associated with a very low calorie diet.

The hCG diet basically consists of fruit, vegetables and meat, if you are a vegetarian there have been modified versions of the diet that take this into consideration also. I am a meat eater myself so I cannot vouch for the effectiveness of a vegetarian diet personally but I am sure it works just as well, maybe even better. The hCG diet is totally dependent on your eating regime, if you’re following the protocol properly then you will have great success. If you are cheating and cutting corners, the results will not be that great.
